Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Recently, JAC Group delivered another bulk order of its electric passenger car, the e-JS4, to the São Paulo State Police in Brazil, according to a press release the automaker issued on Feb. 7 via its WeChat account. This marks the second collaboration with Brazilian law enforcement following the successful partnership in 2023 with the police department of Brazil’s largest city, reinforcing efforts to advance green development across Latin America.

The newly develied e-JS4 vehicles are slated for routine law enforcement activities. As a strategic partner to local government, JAC Group provided a customized solution tailored to meet the strict safety, performance, and durability requirements of the police force.

In addition, JAC Group, in collaboration with its Brazilian partners, has arranged dedicated after-sales service and spare parts supply programs, and has conducted comprehensive, systematic vehicle operation training for police personnel prior to delivery.

In 2023, the São Paulo State Police made their first large-scale purchase of JAC Group's electric passenger car, the e-J7, which was deployed for municipal patrol operations in São Paulo.

Since 2011, JAC Group has been contributing to Latin America's environmental vision by actively promoting new energy vehicle solutions and has established long-term, stable partnerships with over 30 Fortune 500 companies, including DHL, Pepsi, and Carrefour.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
