Beijing (Gasgoo)- On February 8, Dongfeng Motor's off-roader arm MHERO Technology announced that its MHERO 917 luxury new energy off-road vehicle will integrate the DeepSeek-R1 AI large model, with an OTA update planned for the entire lineup before the Auto Shanghai 2025.
This makes MHERO the first premium off-roader brand to adopt the DeepSeek intelligent system.
With continuous AI training and model refinement, the update will significantly enhance the MHERO 917's smart cockpit experience. The cockpit's voice wake-up speed and recognition response time will improve from seconds to milliseconds, enabling more natural interactions and an expanded voice command library for off-road scenarios.
Additionally, MHERO is developing its own AI-powered large model engine in collaboration with industry leaders such as Baidu and Huawei. The system will analyze terrain features, provide real-time driving recommendations based on vehicle posture, and deliver guided off-road experiences. This innovation aims to advance intelligent driving functions in off-road scenarios, empowering users to explore uncharted terrain and driving the rapid evolution of smart off-road technology.
Notably, Dongfeng Motor's premium new energy vehicle brand VOYAH also recently announced that it has successfully completed deep integration with the DeepSeek AI model. Its COURAGE SUV model will be the brand's first vehicle to incorporate this advanced technology.
