Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On February 6, global leading automotive supplier ZF Group announced that its parking project dedicated to ZEEKR's vehicle models (hereinafter referred to as "ZEEKR parking project") has successfully passed a third-party audit, earning certification for ASPICE (Automotive Software Process Improvement and Capacity Determination) Capabilities Level 2 (L2).

The project is conducted by the Electronics and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) division of ZF's Asia-Pacific region.

This marks the division's first global software quality certification, underscoring its technical capabilities and management standards in automotive software development as recognized by the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA), said ZF.

The ASPICE certification is a quality management system standard established by the automotive industry organizations to guide automotive software development across all stages and define quality requirements. The ASPICE L2 certification is widely recognized across the industry and required by major automakers for Tier 1 suppliers, ensuring that product development processes and quality meet customer expectations and industry standards.

The obtained certification signifies that ZF's ZEEKR parking project has attained a high level of maturity and consistency in project management, process control, and quality assurance.

According to ZF, the ZEEKR parking project team has developed an intelligent, efficient, and safe automated parking system capable of identifying various parking environments and handling complex urban roads and tight spaces. The system enables quick and secure maneuvers whether parallel, perpendicular, or diagonal parking, enhancing the user experience. Leveraging advanced sensors and algorithms, the system can monitor its surroundings in real time to ensure safe and precise parking.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
