SMM, February 7: After the Chinese New Year holiday, lead-acid battery enterprises and dealers have gradually resumed work, and with logistics returning to normal, a few dealers have started restocking as needed. However, most dealers are still focused on depleting their inventory. Meanwhile, lead prices have risen sharply after the holiday. Lead-acid battery enterprises are either yet to resume operations or continue production using pre-holiday lead ingot stockpiles, showing low purchase willingness for high-priced lead. Most are adopting a wait-and-see attitude, leaving the spot market in a state of nominal prices without actual transactions.
