DENZA N9 PHEV edition set to hit market in March

DENZA's Sales Division General Manager Mr. Zhao Changjiang said on February 2 that the DENDA N9 will begin pre-sales this month and hit the market in March.

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- DENZA's Sales Division General Manager Mr. Zhao Changjiang said on February 2 that the DENDA N9 will begin pre-sales this month and hit the market in March.

Mr. Zhao also revealed that the model will debut as a PHEV (plug-in hybrid electric vehicle) version, followed later by its BEV (battery electric vehicle) variant.

The DENZA N9, positioned as a large-sized SUV, adopts the brand's latest design language, featuring a closed-off grille, blackened LED headlights, and a standalone LED light strip below. A roof-mounted LiDAR system is also included.

The side profile of the DENZA N9 showcases a streamlined silhouette with a continuous waistline, enhancing its elegant stance. Besides, the model is equipped with pop-out door handles, while the flared wheel arches and sculpted side skirts add the vehicle's dynamic touch. The multi-spoke wheels are blacked out, further enhancing its sporty appeal.

In terms of dimensions, the DENZA N9 measures 5,258 mm in length, 2,030 mm in width, and 1,830 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,125 mm.

Inside, the N9 features a triple-screen setup and a 2+2+2 seating layout. Other features include a roof-mounted display, a refrigerator, dual independent second-row seats, and a panoramic sunroof. The model also offers three interior color schemes tailored for family-, business-, and sport-oriented customers.

Under the hood, the DENZA N9 will be available in both PHEV and BEV variants. The PHEV version is equipped with a 2.0T engine and three electric motors. The 2.0T engine produces a maximum power of 152kW, while the three-motor setup delivers a combined output of 680 kW. It offers a CLTC-rated range of over 200 km on battery power alone.

Besides, the BEV variant features a combined electric motor output of 710 kW.
