[Anglo American's Copper Production Drops 6% in 2024; This Year's Copper Production Expected to Reach 690,000 to 750,000 mt] According to Webstock Inc., citing foreign media on February 6, global mining company Anglo American announced on Wednesday that last year's copper production fell by 6% to 773,000 mt, with Q4 copper production down 14%. The London-listed miner expects copper production in 2025 to reach 690,000 to 750,000 mt.

Webstock Inc., citing foreign media on February 6, reported that global mining company Anglo American announced on Wednesday that copper production last year fell by 6% to 773,000 mt, while Q4 copper production decreased by 14%.

The London-listed miner expects copper production in 2025 to reach 690,000-750,000 mt.

Anglo American stated that forward-looking copper production guidance remains unchanged, with copper production in 2026 expected to increase to 760,000-820,000 mt, driven by improved copper grades in Chile, and copper production in 2027 is projected to be 760,000-820,000 mt.
