Geely Technology Group, Honbridge Holdings ink deal for bauxite transaction

On January 27, Honbridge Holdings announced that it has signed a bauxite procurement framework agreement with Geely Technology Group, a company affiliated to Zhejiang Geely Holding Group.

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On January 27, Honbridge Holdings announced that it has signed a bauxite procurement framework agreement with Geely Technology Group, a company affiliated to Zhejiang Geely Holding Group.

Under the agreement, Honbridge Holdings plans to procure bauxite and relevant products from Geely Technology Group.

According to the announcement, the procurement agreement stipulates an annual purchase cap of up to 300 million yuan by December 31, 2025, and up to 370 million yuan each by December 31, 2026, and December 31, 2027.

Honbridge Holdings, which forayed into the lithium-ion battery sector in 2014, provides products to multiple brands under Geely Holding Group as well as other electric vehicle manufacturers. The company has expanded into ride-hailing services in France under the "CaoCao" brand, with a fleet of nearly 300 LEVC TX new energy vehicles and 500,000 app downloads.

Geely Technology Group focuses on core businesses including new materials, renewable energy, and smart motorcycle manufacturing. The company also strategically invests in low-altitude mobility, commercial aerospace, and innovation-driven sectors. With a broad portfolio across the automotive industry chain, its main businesses cover upstream and downstream investments in new materials, material applications, the manufacturing and recycling of new energy power batteries, energy development and utilization, and the production of complete motorcycles and key components.
