Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On January 29, at Geely Auto's Guizhou manufacturing facility, the world's 100,000th Geely Galaxy E5 vehicle rolled off the production line, according to a video released by Zhejiang Geely Holding Group.

As the first pure electric SUV in Geely's Galaxy new energy vehicle range, the Galaxy E5 officially hit the market in Guiyang on August 3, 2024, with initial deliveries commencing simultaneously. Both the complete vehicle assembly and the battery pack installation are carried out at the Guiyang base. The model is offered in five variants, with a price range of 112,800 yuan to 148,800 yuan.

The Galaxy E5 has demonstrated impressive sales momentum since its market launch. Within 20 days, over 10,000 units had been delivered; this figure surpassed 20,000 units in 45 days, exceeded 30,000 units in 67 days, and reached 40,000 units in 85 days. By the 100th day, deliveries had topped 50,000 units, and within 119 days, more than 60,000 units were delivered.

The Galaxy E5 is equipped with the new-generation Aegis Short Blade battery, available in two capacities—49.52 kWh and 60.22 kWh—delivering maximum ranges of up to 440 km and 530 km, respectively, thereby meeting the demands of daily urban commuting and long-distance travel.

Additionally, the vehicle's electric motor produces a maximum power of 160 kW, enabling it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.9 seconds. In official moose antler testing, the vehicle maintained excellent stability and handling at a speed of 78 km/h.

Positioned as a compact pure electric SUV, the Galaxy E5 measures 4,615 mm in length, 1,901 mm in width, and 1,670 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,750 mm. Its front-end design resembles that of the Galaxy E8 model.
