Domestic Iron Ore Brief Review: Prices of Iron Ore Concentrates in the Tangshan Region May Fluctuate with a Stable and Weak Trend The prices of iron ore concentrates in the Tangshan region are basically flat compared to pre-holiday levels; the delivery-to-factory price of local Fe66% iron ore concentrates (dry basis, tax-included) is 960-970 yuan/mt; the Tangshan iron ore market has not fully resumed operations, and iron ore resources remain tight.

The price of iron ore concentrates in the Tangshan region remained basically flat compared to the pre-holiday period. The local delivery-to-factory price of Fe66% iron ore concentrates (dry basis, tax-included) was 960-970 yuan/mt. The Tangshan iron ore market has not fully resumed operations, and iron ore resources remain tight. Steel mills showed weak overall purchase willingness, with most opting to observe the market before restocking. Overall, market transactions were relatively sluggish. In general, the demand side has not yet picked up, and the local iron ore concentrates market is expected to continue fluctuating downward in the near term.

At the start of the week, coking coal and coke led the futures higher, mainly driven by rising crude oil prices in the overseas market, which pushed the energy and chemicals sector stronger accordingly; mid-week, both the U.S. and Iran signaled a more relaxed stance toward war, easing geopolitical tensions, while coal prices fell in tandem, weakening the cost-side logic, and ferrous metals fluctuated at highs; in the latter half of the week, worsening short-term liquidity issues in BHP's iron ore port inventory triggered stronger iron ore prices in the overseas market, while the Middle East situation remained volatile, reinforcing cost support and pushing ferrous metals higher again. In the spot market, supported by futures, end-user and arbitrage purchase sentiment both improved WoW this week......
