Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On January 26, Chinese new energy vehicle manufacturer NETA Auto announced that its first stores in Brazil and Cambodia had opened for business, marking significant milestones in its global expansion strategy.

NETA Auto began laying the groundwork for its entry into the Brazilian market in May 2024, when it initiated a countdown for its official vehicle model launch. By July 20, the company had established its first South American subsidiary in São Paulo's Paulista Avenue, signaling its formal debut in the region.

In September last year, NETA Auto secured financial support of 1 billion Brazilian reals (approximately 1.2257 billion RMB) through a strategic partnership with BTG Pactual and the importer Sertrading. The funding supports vehicle imports and charging infrastructure development in Brazil.

Beyond Brazil and Cambodia, NETA Auto's international footprint now spans South America, Africa, the Middle East, and Central Asia.
