[World Steel Association: Global Crude Steel Production Reached 1.8826 Billion mt in 2024] The World Steel Association reported that in December 2024, crude steel production from 71 countries/regions included in its statistics reached 144.5 million mt, up 5.6% YoY. The global crude steel production for the entire year of 2024 was 1.8826 billion mt.
