Viridis Mining & Minerals has updated the resource estimate for its Colossus project located in Minas Gerais.
According to this update, the project's ore resources have reached 493 million mt, with a grade of 0.2508% total rare earth oxides (TREO). Compared to the resource estimate in June 2024, this update represents a 140% increase.
Viridis noted that Colossus is considered a world-class ion-adsorption rare earth deposit, with both grade and scale leading among similar deposits. The deposit's magnet rare earth oxides (Pr-Nd, dysprosium, terbium) (MREO) grade is 0.0601%, accounting for 24% of the total rare earth oxide content.
