[SMM Lead Morning Brief: LME Lead Fluctuated Downward Overnight, Recording Three Consecutive Losses; SHFE Lead Consolidated and Closed Slightly Higher Before the Holiday] SMM, January 24: Overnight, LME lead opened at $1,970/mt and finally closed at $1,949/mt, down $15/mt, a decrease of 0.76%. Overnight, the most-traded SHFE lead 2503 contract opened at 16,775 yuan/mt and finally closed at 16,785 yuan/mt, up 50 yuan/mt, an increase of 0.3%.

SMM January 24 News:

Overnight, LME lead opened at $1,970/mt. During the Asian session, it fluctuated downward, and in the European session, it rebounded to a high of $1,977.5/mt before fluctuating downward again, hitting a low of $1,947/mt. It eventually closed at $1,949/mt, down $15/mt, a decrease of 0.76%.
Overnight, the most-traded SHFE lead 2503 contract opened at 16,775 yuan/mt. After a slight upward movement, it briefly touched 16,815 yuan/mt before consolidating sideways, eventually closing at 16,785 yuan/mt, up 50 yuan/mt, an increase of 0.3%.
