XPENG so far delivers over 60,000 MONA M03 vehicles

On January 20, XPENG announced that it has already delivered over 60,000 units of the M03, the first production model under its young product range MONA.

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On January 20, XPENG announced that it has already delivered over 60,000 units of the M03, the first production model under its young product range MONA. Remarkably, the delivery milestone from 50,000 units to 60,000 units was achieved in just 15 days.

The company also revealed that the MONA M03 will soon feature the "Sentry Mode."

Hitting the market on August 27, 2024, with deliveries starting in September, the MONA M03 is priced between 119,800 yuan and 155,800 yuan. The model saw rapid market acceptance, with over 10,000-unit orders placed within 52 minutes of its market launch and more than 30,000-unit orders in the first 48 hours.

The M03 measures 4,780 mm in length, 1,896 mm in width, and 1,445 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,815 mm and a sleek aerodynamic drag coefficient of 0.194Cd. Its youthful design features boomerang-shaped headlights, a closed front grille, and smoothly contoured side panels, while its rear taillights echo the front's styling, offering a striking lighting effect.

Inside, the MONA M03 boasts a 15.6-inch central touchscreen powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip with 16GB of RAM. It includes XPENG's self-developed operating system, 360-degree surround-view imaging, and a 3D rendering map.

The MONA M03 comes with over 20 intelligent sensing components, including 2 millimeter-wave radars, 12 ultrasonic sensors, and 7 cameras, providing Level 2 advanced driver assistance capabilities and advanced auto-parking features. XPENG said the vehicle can handles extreme parking conditions, such as dead-end spots and spaces with side-limit posts, with ease.

Power-wise, the MONA M03 offers two electric motor options, delivering maximum outputs of 140 kW and 160 kW, with a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 7.8 and 7.4 seconds, respectively. Battery options include a 51.8 kWh and a 62.2 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery, offering a range of up to 515 km and 620 km, respectively.
