Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On January 15, 2025, Chinese new energy vehicle NETA Auto officially opened its new dealership in Bekasi, West Java, Indonesia, according to a post on its WeChat account. This marks the company's first overseas dealership launch of the year.

According to NETA Auto, the new dealership offers a full range of services, including sales of vehicles, spare parts, and accessories, as well as vehicle inspections and maintenance.

The new store showcases NETA Auto's all vehicle models, with the NETA V-II and NETA X currently available for purchase.

The company has ambitious plans to establish over 30 new dealerships across Indonesia by the end of 2025, gradually expanding its network from January this year to provide comprehensive services to customers nationwide.

At the global distributor conference held this month, NETA Auto revealed its 2024 overseas sales achievements, with nearly 30,000 vehicles sold and its sales network growing to 184 dealerships across major markets, including Southeast Asia and Latin America.

Looking ahead, NETA Auto aims to double its annual overseas sales in 2025 while enhancing brand recognition and customer satisfaction. The company plans to achieve this through localized management teams and production models to better serve international consumers.

The NETA X, which went on sales outside of China in 2024, is now sold in nearly 10 countries. To meet the rising demand for global orders, NETA Auto's Nanning factory in China is working at full capacity to support the production of key models such as the NETA AYA and NETA X.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
