Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Chinese intelligent SoC (System on Chip) design company Visinex Technology recently closed its new financing round, which raised for the company nearly 100 million yuan, according to China's company query platform Tianyancha.

The new round was led by prominent investment firms including Shenzhen Capital Group, Sunic Capital, and Future Capital. The funds will primarily be used for the R&D of core products and future market expansion.

Founded in 2020, Visinex Technology focuses on the R&D and innovation of high-end intelligent SoC. The company has established a "1+2+N" strategic framework for its business operations. This includes one "Vision + AI" technology platform, featuring key technologies such as the Visinex Yaoguang ISP (image signal processor), the Visinex Tianquan NPU (neural processing unit), and the Visinex Xingtu ToolChain. The company also developed two product directions: the Visinex Haishan@ for smart vision and the WeiJing Yuxing@ for intelligent driving, supporting multiple device-side application scenarios and product forms.

Among its products, the Visinex Yuxing@ series products, aimed at the automotive sector, focus on the Level 2+ integrated driving and parking system market. For the series, the company has so far launched four products: the VS919H, the VS919, the VS919L, and the VS909. The base version, the VS919L, focuses on driving/parking domain control applications.

The standard version, the VS919, is designed for lightweight driving and parking integration. With 24 Tops of computing power, it supports 6V-to-7V sensor setups and can run both driving and parking algorithms on a single chip. This chip enables Level 2+ advanced driver-assistance functions such as active safety, highway NOA (Navigate on Autopilot), and HPA (Home Parking Assist).

The enhanced version, the VS919H, targets medium-grade computing-power driving and parking integration. With 40 Tops of computing power and 7V-to-9V sensor setup, it supports the commute NOA feature. This chip was released at the end of 2024.

Visinex Technology has so far secured POC (proof of concept) projects from two Chinese top-tier OEMs (original equipment manufacturers), with vehicle installation slated to begin at the end of 2025.
