NOVA Technology partners with JAC Group for digital transformation support 

NOVA Technology recently signed a partnership agreement with JAC Group to provide the automaker with cloud networking services, enabling JAC's business migration to the cloud and advancing its digitalization efforts.

JI YUE begins deposit refund process

On January 17, JI YUE announced that it will begin processing full refunds for customers who paid deposits but have not yet received their vehicles. Refund applications will be handled in the order termination agreements are signed, with bank transfers starting on January 22. 

Bosch so far ships over 2 million sets of smart cockpit platform products in China

Chery Automobile's JETOUR brand on January 13 announced the launch of its new high-end off-roader series, the JETOUR Zongheng (name in Chinese pinyin), with a debut launch event scheduled on January 22 at 7:00 PM. 

BYD announces foray into South Korea's passenger vehicle market

On January 16, 2025, BYD held a brand launch event in Incheon's Jung-gu district, South Korea, officially unveiling its strategy and vehicle model rollout plans for the South Korean passenger vehicle market.

Li Auto rolls out OTA 7.0 system update with all-scenario end-to-end intelligent driving functions

On January 16, Li Auto announced the full rollout of its OTA 7.0 system update, making it the first Chinese automaker to achieve all-scenario end-to-end highway/urban smart driving capability integrated with Vision-Language Model (VLM) technology. This update includes the advanced Li Auto AD Max V13.0 system, which aims for "zero takeovers" during intelligent driving operations. 

Pony.ai, Sinotrans renew agreement on autonomous logistics service joint venture

On January 15, autonomous driving solution developer Pony.ai and logistics company Sinotrans announced the signing of a renewal agreement for their joint venture, CYANTRON, signaling an upgraded partnership to advance scalable commercialization of autonomous trucking. This renewed agreement strengthens their strategic collaboration and sets a clear direction for the future of CYANTRON.

smart, DeepRoute.ai to co-develop AI-powered smart driving systems

Autonomous driving tech company DeepRoute.ai recently announced a strategic partnership with carmaker smart, focusing on developing cutting-edge AI-powered intelligent driving systems, transforming vehicles from transportation tools into highly advanced AI entities.

Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
