【Aluminum Prices Continue to Fluctuate Upward, Secondary Aluminum Prices Follow】Today, aluminum prices continued to rise, with SMM A00 aluminum prices increasing by 140 yuan/mt from the previous trading day to 20,340 yuan/mt, marking a total increase of 320 yuan/mt over two days. In the secondary aluminum market, prices generally followed the upward trend. For domestic prices, large domestic secondary aluminum enterprises raised their quotations by 0-100 yuan/mt to 20,800-21,100 yuan/mt, while small and medium-sized plants increased their quotations by 0-100 yuan/mt to 20,500-20,700 yuan/mt. On the import side, overseas prices for imported ADC12 ranged from $2,440-2,470/mt. With the rise in domestic prices, the real-time loss on imported ADC12 narrowed to within 400 yuan/mt. Today, aluminum prices maintained their upward momentum, and secondary aluminum plants showed greater enthusiasm for price adjustments compared to yesterday, with most enterprises raising prices by 100 yuan/mt. As the Chinese New Year approaches, downstream holidays and logistics suspensions will lead to a gradual decline in transactions next week, and ADC12 prices are expected to adjust narrowly in line with A00 aluminum prices.

Fed to Keep Large Banks' Capital Levels Unchanged, Postpones Stress Test Reforms Until 2027
The US Fed has announced that it will maintain the capital levels of large banks unchanged during the upcoming stress test cycle (corresponding to the 2026 cycle). At the same time, the US Fed is planning multidimensional reforms to this annual test, aiming to enhance its transparency. The US Fed's Vice Chair for Supervision, Bowman, revealed that adjustments to the stress capital buffer requirements for large banks will be postponed until 2027. This move is intended to provide the US Fed with sufficient time to evaluate potential flaws that may be exposed in its testing models when assessing banks' financial conditions under simulated economic downturn scenarios.
