As of January 17, 2025, the finished product inventories of secondary lead smelters stood at 11,760 mt, down 1,140 mt WoW. This week, downstream battery producers largely completed their stockpiling, with some small and medium-sized battery plants conducting sporadic restocking. The destocking of secondary lead finished product inventories remained limited. Additionally, downstream refined lead and alloy smelters showed low willingness to purchase secondary crude lead, as most alloy enterprises have already prepared to suspend production for the holiday.
