Australian Gov't Invests $200M to Advance Arafura's Nolans Rare Earth Mine Project

The Australian Federal Government's National Reconstruction Fund Corporation has announced an investment of 200 million Australian dollars to advance the construction of Arafura Rare Earths' Nolans rare earth mine and processing plant in the Northern Territory.

Previously, the Australian government had approved funding of 840 million Australian dollars for Arafura to establish the country's first integrated rare earth mine and processing plant. The Nolans open-pit mine and its associated processing project are located 135 kilometers north of Alice Springs, with the mine's life cycle expected to last approximately 40 years.
