JMEV's Yichi 05 model hits market, starting at 129,800 yuan

On January 13, Jiangling Group New Energy Co., Ltd. (JMEV) officially put the Yichi 05 model onto the market. The vehicle is available in three variants, priced between 129,800 yuan and 179,800 yuan.

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On January 13, Jiangling Group New Energy Co., Ltd. (JMEV) officially put the Yichi 05 model onto the market. The vehicle is available in three variants, priced between 129,800 yuan and 179,800 yuan.

The exterior of the Yichi 05 features an aggressive front fascia with sharp lines and matrix-style LED headlights, creating a striking visual appeal.

The Yichi 05 adopts a coupe-like silhouette design with a sleek roofline. The vehicle features hidden electric door handles and large dual-tone wheels, showcasing its sporty style. Notably, the model offers an around 2-square-meter panoramic sunroof.

As for dimensions, the Yichi 05 measures 4,675 mm in length, 1,835 mm in width, and 1,480 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,750 mm.

The model is available in five color schemes: Moonlight White, Ink Black, Aquamarine Blue, Smoke Blue, and Mountain Purple.

Inside, the Yichi 05 comes equipped with a dual-screen setup, featuring a 10.25-inch instrument display and a 12.3-inch central control touchscreen, which integrates the iFlytek entertainment ecosystem. The vehicle supports advanced features like 540° panoramic imaging and wireless charging. Safety highlights include dual front SRS (supplementary restraint system) airbags and adjustable electric seats for both the driver (6-way) and front passenger (4-way).

The new model features ADAS (advanced driver assistance system) capabilities, offering adaptive cruise control, highway driving assist (HWA), and traffic jam assist (TJA).

The Yichi 05 adopts a 7-in-1 powertrain that minimizes the vehicle weight and optimizes engine bay space. It features a front MacPherson and rear multi-link independent suspension system, and offers four driving modes.

The Yichi 05 is available in single-motor and dual-motor variants. The single-motor version is equipped with a 56.31 kWh battery pack that enables a CLTC-rated range of 550 km, with the electric motor delivering a maximum power output of 165 kW. The dual-motor version is powered by a 63 kWh battery pack, which offers a range of 470 km under the CLTC conditions.
