BYD Han L unveiled in MIIT's catalogue

The BYD Han L has been included in the latest filing released by China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT).

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- The BYD Han L has been included in the latest filing released by China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT).

The BYD Han L adopts BYD's signature "Dragon Face" design, featuring newly designed headlights connected by a full-width decorative strip. The front bumper includes air ducts and black trim elements. The vehicle is equipped with a U-shaped hood and door-mounted side-view mirrors.

On the side, the BYD Han L retains the signature fastback silhouette of the existing Han model. The model offers a single horizontal trim strip on the front fender and driver-side door, enhancing the vehicle's visual appeal.

At the rear, the BYD Han L incorporates a silver trim detail on the D-pillar and has a rear light strip that stretches across the car's width.

As for dimensions, the Han L measures 5,050 mm in length, 1,960 mm in width, and 1,505 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,970 mm.

As for powertrains, the BYD Han L is available in PHEV (plug-in hybrid electric vehicle) and BEV (battery electric vehicle) variants. The PHEV version features BYD's latest fifth-generation DM (Dual Mode) technology. The model is equipped with a 1.5T engine delivering a maximum power output of 115 kW and an electric motor that pumps out 200 kW. It offers battery-powered ranges of 145 km and 170 km.

The BEV variant delivers impressive power performance. The single-motor version offers a maximum power output of 500 kW. As for the dual-motor version, the front electric motor delivers up to 230 kW, while the rear electric motor reaches a staggering 580 kW.
