Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On January 13, Chinese full-stack optical image solution provider Beijing Kankan Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. (Kankan Tech) inked a strategic agreement with the ADAS (advanced driver assistance system) developer Leadmove to jointly advance Level 2+ smart driving solutions.

Per the agreement, both parties plan to drive innovation in the ADAS platform and end-to-end intelligent mobility solutions.

The duo aims to integrate their respective technological strengths and market resources to develop intelligent driving technologies and products for the new energy commercial vehicle sector, with plans to extend these innovations to passenger vehicles and related sectors. Besides, both parties will join hands to create Level 2+ smart driving imaging products and system solutions.

Kankan Tech specializes in core optical imaging technologies, offering clients integrated hardware and software imaging solutions & products, and empowering imaging industries such as mobile phones, automotive, IoT (Internet of Things), metaverse, and industrial vision. In the automotive sector, the company focuses on the R&D of in-vehicle system products and imaging services, and has developed products including a 32M retractable imaging system for smart cockpits, CMS (camera monitor system), palm vein biometric recognition systems, and ADAS-related devices. 

Leadmove specializes in AI algorithm development and edge computing platform design. The company has released AI-based front-view ADAS products, AI perception algorithms, vehicle control algorithms, and multi-core heterogeneous ADAS domain controllers. Its Level 2+ ADAS products feature high computational power and low power consumption, making it suitable for volume production in the automotive industry.
