Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On January 16, Li Auto announced that cumulative deliveries of its L6 SUV model have exceeded 200,000 units, less than nine months after its market debut in April 2024.

Previously, the company reported on November 13, 2024, that the L6 had surpassed 150,000-unit deliveries within seven months. The 200,000-unit mark was achieved in just over two months since then, underscoring the vehicle's strong market performance.

The Li L6, positioned as a five-seat premium family-oriented SUV and the most affordable model in the brand's product lineup, comes in two variants—Pro and Max—with prices ranging from 249,800 yuan to 279,800 yuan. Coming standard with an intelligent four-wheel-drive system across all trim levels, the L6 has quickly become a sales driver for the company. By September 19, 2024, just five months after its market launch, the model had already crossed the 100,000-unit delivery mark.

The Li L6 follows the family design language of Li Auto, bearing a close resemblance to the larger L7 model but with a smaller size. Its dimensions stand at 4,925mm in length, 1,960mm in width, and 1,735mm in height, with a 2,920mm wheelbase.

The interior features the dual-screen setup powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P chip, dual wireless charging pads, an 8.8L onboard refrigerator, first-row seats with ten-point massage functions and ventilation/heating, and a panoramic sunroof. For air quality, the vehicle includes CN95 filters with anti-bacterial, anti-mildew, and anti-mite properties. Safety is enhanced with nine standard airbags.

The Li L6 is equipped with a range-extended hybrid powertrain, comprising a 1.5T four-cylinder range extender and dual electric motors for intelligent all-wheel drive. The range extender delivers a maximum power of 113kW. The vehicle is fitted with a 35.8kWh battery pack, which provides a battery-powered range of 172km.

The Pro and Max variants use lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries supplied by Sunwoda and CATL, respectively.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
