Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Chinese AI technology company AISPEECH recently secured 500 million yuan in a new funding, according to a post on the company's WeChat account.
The financing round involved prominent industry funds, state-owned platforms, and private equity firms, aiming to propel the company's "Cloud + Chip" strategy. The funds will support the scale deployment of the fine-tuned large model (DFM-2) and full-chain dialogue technology across intelligent automotive systems, IoT devices, and industry-specific scenarios such as conferencing, office solutions, and financial services.
Renowned as a platform-driven conversational AI pioneer, AISPEECH develops advanced solutions through its self-built full-chain intelligent dialogue system customization platform (DUI Platform), its language computation large model (DFM), and AI voice chips. These offerings cater to diverse sectors, including smart home appliances, intelligent vehicles, and consumer electronics, combining software and hardware solutions.
In the automotive sector, AISPEECH provides voice technology SDKs, the "Tianqin" in-car voice assistant, and an array of integrated hardware-software solutions. Since entering the factory-installed automobile market in 2019, AISPEECH has partnered with over 60 global automakers, including Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Jaguar Land Rover, BYD, Great Wall Motor, SAIC-GM-Wuling, and Chery. These collaborations have supported the market launch of more than 200 vehicle models.
For instance, AISPEECH's smart voice language interaction technology powers Great Wall Motor's Coffee AI voice assistant, enabling continuous dialogue, multi-intent processing, contextual referencing, visible-to-speak commands, colloquial instructions, and precise multi-zone localization. This technology has been implemented in vehicles equipped with the Coffee OS 2, including HAVAL's H6, Second-generation Big Dog, Xiaolong MAX, and Menglong models.
Beyond voice interaction, AISPEECH offers customizable intelligent cockpit solutions, covering smart instrument clusters, HUDs, infotainment systems, and in-car projectors. In the domain of smart instrument clusters, the company has forged partnerships with prominent automakers such as SAIC-GM-Wuling, SAIC MAXUS, Ruichi, and SERES' Landian, providing solutions for combination instruments, smart central control displays, and voice-integrated instrument panels.
