Shanghai (Gasgoo)- SAIC-GM-Wuling (SGMW) recently revealed more detailed features about the Hongguang MINIEV's four-door edition, according to a post on Wuling Global Silver Badge's WeChat account.

Compared to the exiting two-door edition, the upcoming one offers easier access for rear passengers thanks to its four-door layout.

Measuring 3,256mm in length, 1,510mm in width, and 1,578mm in height with a 2,190mm wheelbase, the four-door edition offers a minimum turning radius of just 4.5 meters. The model boasts a rear cargo capacity of 123L, which can be expandable to 745L with the rear seats folded. Additionally, the vehicle provides 19 storage compartments.

The new model comes with three body color schemes: green, blue, and coffee.

Inside, the Hongguang MINIEV's four-door edition embraces the "cute and romantic" design language. The interior features an electronic parking brake, an 8-inch floating central touchscreen (supporting Bluetooth connectivity, music playback, and FM radio), a 7-inch color liquid crystal instrument panel, a backup camera, and rear parking sensors. Besides, the vehicle supports seamless entry/locking and ignition as well as the mobile app for remote functions such as vehicle status monitoring, door locking, vehicle startup, air conditioning activation, and scheduled charging.

As for safety features, the vehicle adopts the ring-shaped unibody design. It is equipped with airbags for both the driver's and passenger's seats, as well as an electronic stability control (ESC) system.

Regarding power performance, the model is powered by a 30kW three-in-one electric drive system, delivering a CLTC-rated range of 205km. It supports three charging modes: DC fast charging, AC slow charging, and portable household charging. The vehicle can be charged from 30% to 80% of its battery capacity in just 35 minutes under the standard DC fast-charging function. Additionally, the vehicle features SGMW's in-house developed Shenlian battery, whose cells utilize fire-resistant technology and MUST structure for high integration, strength, and multifunctionality.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
