iFlytek, Chery, Lenovo, NIO-backed companies co-launch private equity fund

A new private equity fund management company, Huishang Gongchuang (Anhui) Private Equity Fund Management Co., Ltd. (name in Chinese pinyin), was recently established with a registered capital of 30 million yuan, according to corporate database Tianyancha. Shareholders of the new company include subsidiaries of iFlytek, Chery, Lenovo, and NIO.

WeRide to launch pilot project with Robotaxi, Robobus in Switzerland

A pioneering autonomous driving pilot project in Switzerland has officially commenced, co-funded by the Canton of Zurich and Schweizerische Bundesbahnen (SBB) and managed by the Swiss Transit Lab (STL). Autonomous driving technology company WeRide will provide vehicles and technical support for the project, further solidifying its international market presence with its advanced L4 technology.

Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
