CATL's subsidiary CAIT-SH showcases integrated intelligent chassis at CES 2025
Contemporary Amperex Intelligence Technology (Shanghai) Limited (CAIT-SH), a wholly-owned subsidiary of CATL, showcased its integrated intelligent chassis (CIIC) and related technologies at the COVESA Networking Reception & Demonstration Showcase during the CES 2025. At the event, CAIT-SH and the Intelligent Racing Foundation (IRF) officially signed a strategic memorandum of understanding, under which two parties will collaborate to advance the development of global AI-powered racing cars and intelligent skateboard chassis technologies.
Chinese embodied AI company AI² Robotics secures hundreds of millions of yuan in Pre-A funding round
On January 7, Chinese embodied artificial intelligence (AI) company AI² Robotics announced the successful completion of its Pre-A financing round, which raised for the company hundreds of millions of yuan. This marks the first major financing in the embodied AI sector ever achieved in 2025.
The fresh round was led by Fortune Capital and Dunhong Capital Management, with the participation of CoStone Capital.
ZEROG, Parrot Aero form cooperation on eVTOL's urban scenario application
On January 9, Zero Gravity Aircraft Industry (ZEROG), a Chinese new energy aircraft manufacturer, and Parrot Aero signed an agreement, under which the latter will procure electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft, named ZG-ONE "Magpie Fly", from the former. Two companies also formed strategic collaboration on the application of eVTOL products in urban scenarios, leveraging the aircraft's vertical takeoff and landing capabilities as well as its eco-friendly and low-noise characteristics.
SAIC Motor, CATL cement cooperation in tech R&D, battery swapping, global expansion business
On January 10, CATL announced it has signed an agreement with SAIC Motor to cement their strategic collaboration in multiple areas, including co-development of technologies, aftermarket services for vehicles and batteries, overseas expansion, and battery-swapping innovations.

On January 9, Chinese new energy vehicle maker NETA Auto made its debut at the Singapore Motorshow 2025. The company also announced that the NETA X and the NETA AYA models hit the local market, with 52-unit orders secured on the same day.
