Great Wall Motor (GWM) showcased its core vehicle models and cutting-edge technologies at the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2025.

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Great Wall Motor (GWM) showcased its core vehicle models and cutting-edge technologies at the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2025. These included the all-new Blue Mountain (named "Lanshan" in Chinese pinyin) under the WEY brand, the SOUO S2000 motorcycle, and the Hi4 powertrain architecture.

To address the convergence of AI paradigms in intelligent driving and smart space, GWM introduced a new approach to AI development, namely the Agent of Space & Language (ASL). In the ASL stage, vehicles can process information and make intelligent decisions based on a comprehensive set of data, including destination characteristics, passenger needs and preferences, and real-time traffic and environmental information, allowing smart vehicles to evolve into genuine AI agents.

In addition to AI technologies, LE NEINDREYVAN, Chief Engineer of GMW's powertrain platform center, introduced the company's Hi4 intelligent four-wheel-drive hybrid system at the event.

Currently, the Hi4 hybrid technology system covers four series, including the Hi4, the Hi4 Performance Version, the Hi4-Z, and the Hi4-T. With over ten vehicle models equipped with this technology system, the Hi4 has demonstrated its versatility across various vehicle segments, including urban SUVs and off-road vehicles.

The Hi4 and Hi4 Performance Version feature an innovative all-wheel-drive system with dual motors on both front and rear axles. This configuration delivers strong power, low fuel consumption, and enhanced safety, with such models as the Haval Menglong and WEY’s all-new Blue Mountain equipped with the system.

The Hi4-Z is the super electric hybrid platform GWM designs for off-road vehicles, featuring a 2.0T/3.0T engine, dual electric motors (215 kW for front and 240 kW for rear), a power split and 3-speed longitudinal transmission, and a 59.05 kWh battery. The vehicles built on the Hi4-Z platform can offer a battery-power-alone range of over 200 km, fast charging speeds above 160 kW, and powerful acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in under 4 seconds. The first model to feature this platform is the TANK 500 Hi4-Z, which hit the market on January 1, 2025.

The Hi4-T is a robust off-road solution based on parallel hybrid technology, delivering consistent power while maintaining traditional mechanical four-wheel drive capabilities. This platform is widely equipped in vehicles under the TANK and POER brands.

GWM also showcased the SOUO S2000 model under the company's motorcycle brand SOUO at the CES 2025.

The SOUO S2000 carries GMW's in-house developed horizontally opposed 8-cylinder engine paired with an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission, representing a hallmark of the SOUO brand.

The SOUO S2000 features a digital instrument cluster powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip and offers hardware & software integrated solutions.

The SOUO S2000 has seen remarkable success, with the first batch of 288 units sold out shortly after it hit the market in October 2024.
