SMM, January 10: Today, separation plants have been less active in offering quotes, and rare earth oxide prices have generally fluctuated upward. It is understood that due to the prolonged disruption in the normal import of Myanmar ore, some companies engaged in ion-adsorption ore separation have started to reduce or halt production due to raw material shortages. This has also tightened the circulation of oxide spot cargoes in the market, making low-priced procurement more challenging for downstream buyers.
