On January 8, Hithium Energy Storage announced that Samsung C&T and Hithium Energy Storage recently signed a global cooperation agreement in Xiamen, Fujian.
It is reported that the two parties have established a continuous and stable strategic partnership for the supply of ESS batteries and system solutions, aiming to collaborate on ESS projects with a total capacity of approximately 10 GWh globally in the future. This cooperation will bring new opportunities and inject new vitality into the global business development of both parties.
Samsung C&T is a globally renowned comprehensive enterprise and one of the most important core companies of the Samsung Group. It is also a global leader in the new energy sector as an EPC and developer. The company is involved in infrastructure engineering and construction, energy and chemical machinery trade, as well as investment and development of natural resources such as oil and natural gas. Established in 1938, Samsung C&T is also one of the Fortune Global 500 companies. Iconic structures such as the Burj Khalifa, Malaysia's Petronas Twin Towers, and Taipei 101 were all built by Samsung C&T.
Hithium Energy Storage stated that the signing of this agreement reflects Samsung C&T's recognition and affirmation of Hithium Energy Storage's technical capabilities, product quality and performance, as well as service assurance. Hithium Energy Storage will leverage its professional expertise in the ESS sector to provide Samsung C&T with integrated ESS solutions, jointly addressing the growing demand in the global ESS market. Furthermore, this cooperation will help both parties advance supply chain integration, ensure commercial and strategic advantages, achieve resource sharing and synergy, and jointly enhance their competitiveness in the global industry market.
