The Xia's front end adopts BYD's signature "Dragon Face" design language, featuring a bold front grille with a dragon-scale-armor-typed design and sleek LED headlights. Its side profile showcases a rising and full-length waistline. At the rear, a standout feature is the taillights, which is inspired by Chinese knot. The Xia includes AR projection-activated sliding doors and tailgate.

The model offers four color schemes: Mountain Green, Kiln Purple, Porcelain White, and Sky Black.

As for size, the Xia measures 5,145 mm in length, 1,970 mm in width, and 1,805 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,045 mm.

Regarding intelligent features, the Xia comes standard with the DiPilot 100 intelligent driving assistance system across its entire lineup. With 29 sensors, the system enables lane centering, adaptive cruise control, lane-change assist, automated parking, and lane departure warning. The Xia also includes the DiSus-C intelligent damping body control system, enhancing ride comfort and stability.

As BYD's first mid-to-large MPV with the fifth-generation DM (dual mode) technology, the Xia features a PHEV (plug-in hybrid electric vehicle) -dedicated 1.5T engine paired with the EHS200 electric hybrid system. World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
