[US Halleck Creek Rare Earth Mine Granted Trial Mining Permit] According to MiningWeekly, Australian Stock Exchange-listed company American Rare Earths (ARR) announced that its wholly-owned US subsidiary, Wyoming Rare (WRI), has been granted a permit for trial mining at the Halleck Creek rare earth mine in the US.

According to MiningWeekly, the Australian Stock Exchange-listed company American Rare Earths (ARR) announced that its wholly-owned US subsidiary, Wyoming Rare (WRI), has obtained a permit to conduct trial mining at the Halleck Creek rare earth mine.

This permit allows WRI to carry out trial mining, trenching, and exploratory tunneling, including collecting bulk samples from the "Cowboy State" mine area of the Halleck Creek project.

The bulk samples will provide raw materials for testing at a facility recently acquired by the company in Laramie, Wyoming. This will enable ARR to refine processing technologies and optimize project design.

The company stated that the trial mining will allow ARR to procure the required quantity of ore for processing at the pilot plant, which is a critical step in refining processing methods and advancing commercial development.

"Collecting bulk samples enables us to advance pilot plant testing and solidify the technical foundation for mining at the Halleck Creek project. This is a key step in fully unlocking the project's potential," said ARR CEO Chris Gibbs.

"We are committed to working responsibly while meeting the highest standards of environmental and community requirements. This permit demonstrates our team's hard work, the partnerships we have built in Wyoming, and Wyoming's favorable mining investment environment."

These activities will play an important role in pilot plant testing, metallurgical analysis, and process optimization, laying the groundwork for future project development.
