Beijing (Gasgoo)- On January 2, autonomous delivery vehicle maker NEOLIX became one of four companies to receive functional unmanned vehicle operation permits from Xiangjiang New Area in Changsha, Hunan Province, the company announced via WeChat.

This permit allows NEOLIX's unmanned delivery vehicles to legally operate on designated open roads in Changsha, marking its first deployment in Central China after establishing a presence in East and South China.

Recently, the Changsha Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, along with five other departments, issued the "Changsha Road Testing and Demonstration Application Guidelines for Intelligent Connected Vehicles (Trial) V5.0." The guidelines explicitly support the development and application of functional unmanned vehicles, as well as highly autonomous and fully autonomous driving technologies. These policies provide a clear framework for NEOLIX to expand its operational scenarios and scale up its unmanned vehicle services in Changsha.

NEOLIX has also pioneered the implementation of a digital road rights application system in collaboration with cities like Beijing and Hangzhou. This system standardizes the application process for road access, ensuring the compliance and legality of unmanned vehicle operations while enhancing government oversight to ensure public safety and traffic order.

To cater to varying urban requirements, NEOLIX offers tailored unmanned vehicle models. The X3 is designed for high-density areas in major cities, the X6 targets suburban zones, smaller cities, and rural regions, while the X12 specializes in night operations and closed environments, addressing the diverse demands of urban and rural logistics.
