SGMW's full-year sales exceed 1.54 million vehicles in 2024

SAIC-GM-Wuling (SGMW) recently announced that its sales for 2024 reached 1,540,077 vehicles, representing a year-on-year growth of 9.76%.

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- SAIC-GM-Wuling (SGMW) recently announced that its sales for 2024 reached 1,540,077 vehicles, representing a year-on-year growth of 9.76%.

In the new energy vehicle (NEV) sector, SGMW sold around 800,000 vehicles last year, accounting for over 50% of total sales and representing a 63% year-on-year hike, which brings SGMW's cumulative NEV sales to exceed 2.4 million units by the end of 2024.

In addition, SGMW's export sales reached 225,000 units/sets (including CKDs) last year, setting a new high level.

SGMW has categorized its vehicle models into "Red Badge" and "Silver Badge." Among them, Wuling Red Badge achieved annual sales of 590,439 units for the past year. To be specific, the Wuling Hongguang BEV (battery electric vehicle) edition posted cumulative sales of 12,889 units since the market launch in September 2024. The Wuling Yangguang all-electric van, which went on sale in March 2024, logged sales of 54,021 units in total.

The Wuling Global Silver Badge recorded annual sales of 680,941 units, displaying a year-on-year leap of 19.7%. Specifically, the Hongguang MINIEV family sold 261,141 units, bringing its cumulative sales to over 1.45 million units. The Wuling Bingo family logged sales of 236,574 units, a year-on-year surge of 41%. Notably, the Wuling Xingguang family achieved annual sales surpassing 100,000 units, marking a year-on-year spike of 868%.

As for SGMW's Baojun brand, the marque's sales reached 43,647 units last year, showing a 37.1% jump over a year earlier. Among these, the Baojun Yunhai SUV model achieved deliveries of 10,017 units.
