Beijing (Gasgoo)- Chinese intelligent driving solution developer iMotion officially announced its partnership with Continental Smart Core Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., a joint venture between Continental and Horizon Robotics, to co-develop a lightweight urban navigation driving product based on Robotics' Journey® 6 series computing solutions.
The product has already been designated by a major domestic automaker and is scheduled for mass production in 2025. This collaboration marks the beginning of a strategic partnership between the two companies, aiming to deliver cutting-edge intelligent driving products for auto manufacturers.
The two companies have undertaken comprehensive system-level optimizations to create the lightweight urban navigation driving product. At the functional algorithm layer, the use of Transformer architecture and game interaction models enhances environmental perception and interaction capabilities, pushing the system's performance boundaries.
At the software layer, a carefully designed architecture ensures efficient allocation of computing, transmission, and storage resources for smooth system operation.
On the hardware side, a rigorously validated design integrates high-performance computing units into vehicles operating under demanding conditions, ensuring compatibility, stability, and signal integrity.
