Horizon Robotics' Journey 6 series products to be deployed onto over 100 vehicle models

Horizon Robotics recently announced that its Journey 6 series smart computing products have established partnerships with more than 20 automakers and brands.

Beijing (Gasgoo)- Horizon Robotics recently announced that its Journey 6 series smart computing products have established partnerships with more than 20 automakers and brands, including leading domestic automakers, globally renowned carmakers, startup brands, and joint ventures.

Starting in 2025, the Journey 6 series is set to be deployed onto over 100 vehicle models with mid-to-high-level intelligent driving capabilities. The company's Journey product family is also projected to surpass the mass-production milestone of 10 million units in 2025.  

Known for its adaptability and compliance with global regulations, Horizon Robotics' intelligent driving solutions support automakers' international business expansion. These solutions will be featured in several overseas models from brands like BYD, Chery, and MG, boosting the global competitiveness of Chinese automakers.  

To date, Horizon Robotics has partnered with more than 40 automakers worldwide, including China's top ten automakers, empowering over 300 vehicle models and serving 5 million users. Industry-leading partners such as Bosch, Continental, NavInfo, Freetech, and QCraft have developed differentiated intelligent driving solutions based on the Journey 6 series, which continue to secure contracts from automakers.

On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
