Silver Prices Fell on December 31 [SMM Daily Review]

Today, silver prices declined. The opening price of spot silver was $28.944 per ounce, and the SMM 1# silver ex-factory reference average price in the morning was 7,440 yuan per kilogram, down 82 yuan per kilogram compared to yesterday, a decrease of 1%. According to SMM, most traders in the Shanghai area were in a closed-account state today, with few market quotations and limited transactions. As most enterprises had already announced pre-holiday closures, downstream enterprises prepared in advance, leading to low recent procurement demand and limited market transactions.
Silver Paste: Today, the reference price for solar cell rear-side silver paste was 4,860-4,960 yuan per kilogram; the reference price for solar cell busbar front-side silver paste was 7,336-7,436 yuan per kilogram; and the reference price for solar cell finger front-side silver paste was 7,386-7,486 yuan per kilogram.
