Dongfeng Motor anticipates yearly sales of 2.48 million vehicles in 2024

On December 30, Dongfeng Motor Corporation held its 2025 work conference in Wuhan, announcing its performance projections for 2024 and strategic goals for 2025.

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On December 30, Dongfeng Motor Corporation held its 2025 work conference in Wuhan, announcing its performance projections for 2024 and strategic goals for 2025.  

For 2024, Dongfeng Motor expects to sell 2.48 million vehicles in total, indicating a 2.5% year-on-year increase, with terminal deliveries reaching 2.56 million units, up 4.8% from a year ago.

Specifically, sales of Dongfeng Motor's wholly-owned brands are projected to reach 1.37 million units, marking a 34.3% growth and accounting for 55% of the company's total sales, which is 13 percentage points higher than a year ago.

New energy vehicle (NEV) sales are forecasted at 860,000 units this year, representing a 70.9% year-on-year surge. Among which, 810,000 units should be from Dongfeng Motor's wholly-owned brands, soaring 122.5% year over year.

For 2025, Dongfeng Motor set an ambitious sales target of 3 million vehicles, with a potential to reach 3.2 million units. This includes over 1 million NEVs, as well as 500,000 units from overseas markets and exports.

The company aims to strengthen its specialty equipment business, accelerate its intelligent technology initiatives, and further expand international presence.
