Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Recently, SAIC Volkswagen revealed its new vehicle launch plans for 2025. Specifically, the company plans to put the Teramont PRO and the refreshed versions of the Lavida and the Lamando L onto the market. In addition, the Audi A5L Sportback model and the first battery electric vehicle (BEV) model under the AUDI brand will be rolled out.

Teramont PRO, refreshed versions of Lavida, Lamando L to hit market in 2025

In 2025, SAIC Volkswagen will continue to focus on the oil-fueled vehicle segment, with market launch of the refreshed versions of the Lavida and the Lamando L as well as the Teramont PRO.

The exterior of the Teramont PRO model adopts a semi-closed grille, featuring headlights and black trims on the grille integrated seamlessly, creating a striking visual effect. As for the side styling, the vehicle is equipped with hidden door handles, enhancing a sleek profile.

In terms of size, the Teramont PRO measures 5,158mm in length, 1,991mm in width, and 1,788mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,980mm.

Inside, the vehicle is equipped with a digital instrument cluster and a large central touchscreen. It is powered by the fifth-generation EA888 engine, delivering power output of up to 200 kW.

Audi A5L Sportback to be unveiled in early 2025

Positioned as the long-wheelbase version of the all-new Audi A5 exclusively for the Chinese market, the model maintains the Sportback coupe silhouette of its global counterpart.

The A5L Sportback model adopts a sleek and fastback design, exuding a dynamic appeal. Inside, it is equipped with an 11.9-inch digital instrument display, a 14.5-inch central touchscreen, and a 10.9-inch passenger-side display.

Under the hood, the vehicle is powered by the fifth-generation EA888 Evo 2.0T engine, paired with a 48V mild-hybrid system, delivering a maximum power output of 200 kW.

AUDI brand's first BEV model to hit market in mid-2025

The all-new AUDI brand, which was developed by Audi and SAIC Motor, will put its first BEV model onto the market in mid-2025, featuring 100% Audi's DNA.

The vehicle adopts an all-new design language, with through-type headlights and a closed front grille.

The side profile of the vehicle showcases a sleek design with hidden door handles, adding its futuristic appeal. At the rear, the vehicle adopts a full-width taillight and a rear spoiler.

Inside, it features a minimalist design with a full-width screen.

Powering the vehicle is a 100kWh ternary lithium battery pack, paired with an 800V architecture. It boasts a range of over 700 kilometers under CLTC conditions and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds. Additionally, the model is equipped with electric motors at both the front and rear axles, air suspension, LiDAR, and advanced intelligent driving systems.
