Beijing (Gasgoo)- Chinese electrical appliance retailer Gome launched its automotive circulation brand, "Gome Auto Market" (name in translation), on December 28 in Beijing, which marked its official entry into the automotive sector.

At the event, Gome Auto Market signed partnership agreements with various automotive-related service brands, including navigation platforms, e-commerce platforms, and MCN agencies. These collaborations aim to leverage resource sharing, co-created IPs, and media networks.

Gome Auto Market’s retail structure is categorized by regional levels and functional purposes. Regionally, stores are classified as flagship stores in Tier 1-2 cities, backbone stores in Tier 3-4 cities, and satellite stores in Tier 5 or smaller cities. Functionally, stores are divided into three types: all-in-one stores offering services like new car sales, delivery, and trade-ins; showroom stores focusing on car displays and sales; and top-seller stores targeting popular models for the local market.

Gome Auto Market's collaboration modes with automakers include direct factory sales, profit-sharing, consignment sales with zero inventory, and pre-order packages.

The brand's first store and its inaugural smart vehicle experience center in Beijing's Xibahe area is already established, which will feature over 30 new energy vehicle (NEV) brands in the future.

Additionally, Gome Auto Market is initiating a pilot project for a massive comprehensive auto mall in Beijing's Southwest Fourth Ring area. The project includes plans for the city's largest automobile park, aiming to integrate culture, commerce, technology, and entertainment into a holistic automotive industry ecosystem.
