Wyoming Rare Secures Facility at Western Research Institute to Boost Halleck Creek Project

American Rare Earths (ARE) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Wyoming Rare, has secured a new facility at the Western Research Institute (WRI) to advance the Halleck Creek rare earth project and enhance its operational capabilities in the region. Located in Laramie, WRI is a non-profit organization with assets worth millions of US dollars, focusing on advanced energy systems, environmental technologies, and materials R&D.

The new facility is expected to serve as a key hub for ARE's exploration, processing, and future development activities, helping the company better align with the US strategy to expand critical mineral development. Additionally, the company previously received $7.1 million in funding from the state of Wyoming to support its rare earth processing plans.
