Signing Ceremony of SPIC's Guinea Alumina Project Implementation Agreement Held

On December 23 local time, the signing ceremony for the implementation agreement of SPIC's Guinea alumina project was held at the Presidential Palace in Conakry, the capital of Guinea. Liu Fengyou, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Aluminum Power Company, and Guo Qianfeng, Executive Director of the Guinea Company, signed the agreement on behalf of the company with Guinea's Minister of Mines and Geology. The Chinese Ambassador to Guinea, the Chief of Staff of the Presidential Office, the Secretary General of the Presidential Office, and the Minister of Finance, along with several other senior government officials, attended and witnessed the signing.

The signing of this agreement is a measure by the company to implement the initiative proposed by President Xi Jinping during the China-Africa Forum in his meeting with the President of Guinea, aimed at helping Guinea transform its resource advantages into development momentum and injecting new impetus into Guinea's socio-economic development. It is also an important step for the company in adhering to integrity and fulfilling commitments, as well as advancing towards internationalization.
