The interior adopts a minimalist yet modern aesthetic. The three-spoke steering wheel, large central control screen, and streamlined dashboard contribute to a clean and contemporary design. Notably, the C798 eliminates a traditional instrument cluster, likely replacing it with an AR-HUD system.

The new model features a heated steering wheel, a 12.8-inch passenger entertainment screen, zero-gravity passenger seats, ventilated and heated rear seats, 256-color ambient lighting, and a 16-speaker sound system. The vehicle also offers CDC adaptive suspension for enhanced comfort.

The C798 showcases NEVO's family design language, with a sleek and rounded profile. Key exterior elements include a full-width LED daytime running light and an illuminated logo. The model measures 4,837mm in length, 1,920mm in width, and 1,690mm in height, with a 2,905mm wheelbase.

The C798 is equipped with a plug-in hybrid electric system featuring 1.5L and 1.5T engine options. The 1.5L engine delivers a maximum power of 72kW, while the 1.5T engine outputs 110kW, both paired with a 165kW electric motor. On battery power alone, the vehicle offers range options of 111km and 166km.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
