According to an SMM survey, as of Thursday (December 26), total zinc ingot inventory across seven regions was 65,200 mt, down 17,000 mt from December 19 and 4,900 mt from December 23. Domestic inventories declined overall. Shanghai inventory increased slightly due to continuous inflows of imported zinc ingots and arrivals of domestic zinc ingots under long-term contracts. Tianjin inventory decreased as warehouse arrivals remained limited, and Guangdong inventory also declined due to low warehouse arrivals and continued spot cargo flows to east China. Overall, inventories in the three regions fell by 5,000 mt, and total inventory across seven regions decreased by 4,900 mt.
