[Winning Bid Result for 1GW PV Project of an Overseas Company Announced] Recently, the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) announced the winning bid result for a 1GW PV project. It is reported that this tender was launched under the 18th phase of projects. Recently, the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) announced the winning bid result for a 1GW PV project.

It is reported that this tender was launched under the 18th tranche of projects. Out of the tendered capacity, 600MW has been allocated to three bidders, with an average winning bid price of 3.06 Indian rupees ($0.036)/kWh.

ReNew secured 250MW with the lowest electricity price of 3.04 Indian rupees/kWh; Acme Solar won 300MW with a bid price of 3.05 Indian rupees/kWh; Adani Renewable Energy obtained 50MW at a bid price of 3.1 Indian rupees/kWh, while its bid volume was 200MW.

SECI will sign a 25-year power purchase agreement with the winners. The electricity procured by SECI from these projects is ready to be sold to various purchasing entities in India.
