Beijing (Gasgoo)- HiRain Technologies received a mass-production partnership with Jiangling Motors Corporation (JMC) to deliver advanced intelligent driving solutions, cutting-edge AR HUD for smart cockpits, and intelligent connected solutions, the company announced via WeChat on December 24.

HiRain Technologies' advanced intelligent driving solution is built on high-performance chips with high computing power. It supports up to 12 camera inputs, 2 video outputs, 4 Ethernet connections, and 8 CAN bus interfaces. Enhanced by end-to-end large models, the system enables high-level Urban NOA (Navigation on Autopilot) and advanced valet parking (AVP) functionalities.

According to HiRain Technologies, the perception system designed for JMC features 11 specialized cameras, including 2 eight-megapixel front-view cameras, 4 two-and-a-half-megapixel side-view cameras, 1 two-and-a-half-megapixel rear-view camera, and 4 three-megapixel surround-view cameras. These compact sensors boast high resolution, wide dynamic range, and broad field of view. Combined with proprietary image processing algorithms and sensor fusion technology, the system delivers real-time, accurate recognition of roads, vehicles, pedestrians, and obstacles, ensuring reliable data for intelligent driving operations.

This partnership reflects a shared vision between HiRain Technologies and JMC in advancing intelligent driving. As the collaboration deepens, HiRain aims to deliver superior intelligent driving solutions to JMC, promoting the adoption of smart driving technologies and creating a safer, more convenient, and intelligent mobility experience for users.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
