Shanghai (Gasgoo)- IM Motors, the premium electric vehicle maker co-backed by SAIC Motor, Alibaba Group, and Zhangjiang High-Tech, announced on December 23 that its cumulative delivery volume has surpassed 100,000 vehicles.

According to the company, IM Motors recorded monthly sales of 10,007 vehicles in November 2024, representing a year-on-year (YoY) leap of 14.98% and a month-on-month (MoM) climb of 0.06%.

On the same day, IM Motors announced its plans to roll out four new models in 2025, including two pure electric vehicles and two range-extended electric vehicles.

Founded in December 2020, IM Motors now has four BEV (battery electric vehicle) models available for sale: the L6, the LS6, the L7, and the LS7, spanning sedan, SUV, and coupe SUV segments.

IM Motors' sales growth in November may be attributed to its expanding lineup, particularly the launch of the all-new IM LS6 on September 26. The model is available in five trim options, priced between 216,900 yuan and 279,900 yuan.

The all-new LS6 features a minimalist exterior design with a flat, streamlined profile that enhances its sporty character.

Inside, the all-new LS6 comes standard with a 26.3-inch adjustable central control screen and an auxiliary screen. The vehicle is equipped with a 26.3-inch panoramic display paired with a 10.5-inch touchscreen, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 chip. It supports CarLink and HiCar mobile phone connectivity.

At the rear, the all-new LS6 adopts a full-width taillight cluster and a ducktail-like spoiler, enhancing its sporty appeal. The model measures 4,910 mm in length, 1,988 mm in width, and 1,669 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,960 mm.

The most significant upgrade in the all new LS6 lies in its Lingxi digital chassis, which integrates an air suspension, electronic controlled damping, and a high-performance braking system.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
