Approximately 484 Million Yuan! Enjie Co., Ltd. Secures Another Major Lithium Battery Separator Order

[Approximately 484 Million Yuan! Enjie Shares Secures Another Large Lithium Battery Separator Order] Ultium Cells LLC will purchase lithium battery separators from Enjie Hungary from January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025, with a total value not exceeding $66.25 million (approximately 484 million yuan), subject to the specific purchase orders. On the evening of December 23, Enjie Co., Ltd. (002812) disclosed that its controlling subsidiary, Enjie Hungary, and US-based Ultium Cells LLC, based on their mutual cooperation intentions, agreed that Ultium Cells LLC would purchase no more than $66.25 million (approximately 484 million yuan) worth of lithium battery separators from Enjie Hungary from January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025, with specific details subject to purchase orders. It is reported that Ultium Cells LLC is a joint venture established by US-based General Motors and South Korea's LG Chem. The company operates multiple factories in the US, primarily engaged in the production and manufacturing of lithium batteries for EVs, supplying EV batteries to General Motors in North America. Enjie Co., Ltd. stated that the signing of this contract will help enhance the company's market expansion capabilities, overall strength, and internationalization level in the global lithium battery separator industry, consolidating Enjie's competitive advantage in the international market. It is understood that Enjie Co., Ltd. has recently received a series of positive news. On December 21, Enjie disclosed that its subsidiary, Shanghai Enjie, will serve as the main separator supplier for Gotion High-tech, supplying lithium battery separator products to Gotion High-tech in 2025. On November 24, Enjie disclosed that Shanghai Enjie signed a "Global Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement" with EVE, under which EVE is expected to prioritize purchasing no less than 3 billion m² of separators from Shanghai Enjie and its subsidiaries in Southeast Asia, Europe, and other regions from 2025 to 2031.
