According to SMM, as of Thursday (December 19), inventories in the Shanghai Bonded Zone stood at 8,000 mt, down 600 mt WoW.

According to SMM, as of Thursday (December 19), inventories in the Shanghai Bonded Zone stood at 8,000 mt, down 600 mt WoW. The import window briefly opened and then closed during the week. Spot cargo in Shanghai remained tight, and imported zinc ingots showed a strong willingness to sell, leading to inventory outflows and a decline in bonded zone inventories.

SMM data shows that social inventories of zinc ingots across seven major regions in China totalled 71,100 mt as of September 30, down 21,600 mt from a week ago and 22,900 mt from this Monday.
